AnatomyLab III is a tool for training, presentation, reference and documentation of musculoskeletal anatomy. This easy to use program is based on a new and unique user interface technique for displaying sectional views in separate 3D windows simultaneously. The integrated high-end 3D model of the skeleton and muscles is of highest detail. Internet bindings for all anatomical structures provide instant access to related anatomical and physiological online information.
Visual View Selection and Visual Dissection
A library of 900 predefined musculoskeletal 3D views can be 3-dimensionally previewed and the desired view can be quickly selected from a 3D-tile-window pick menu. Interactive navigation to the target section is easy by selecting and combining anatomical structures from a visual menu.
Extendible Library of 3D-Views and 3D Popup-window viewing
New Views can be created and auto-colorized. Pointer labels, circular pointer labels and comment labels can be added interactively. Add your own views to the library of 3D-Views for presentation and for reference. Views are organized in a tree and can be grouped and quickly recalled with the Preview feature. Different anatomical structures can be simultaneously explored by using the 3D Popup-window feature.
Powerful view search engine helps to find 3D-views quickly
A comprehensive dictionary of names and label terms is automatically maintained and helps to find similar views of a structure. Enter a search term or pick a name from alphabetical lists for instant preview of all matching 3D-views and similar views. While labels are added the dictionary grows in size and becomes a personalized source of reference.
Support of English and Latin Nomenclature
Names of anatomical structures are optionally displayed in English or in Latin. For proposed names on interactive labeling, you can choose between English names, Latin Names or both names.
